Short answer: the right Zentail alternative depends on which of three things pushed you off it. If the problem is the five-marketplace ceiling, Sellercloud (150+ channel integrations) and ChannelEngine (1300+ channels) go far wider. If the problem is being billed on your annual revenue, Linnworks states outright that it prices “on order volume, not revenue–no percentage fees, ever,” and Sellercloud publishes “No revenue share. No hidden fees.” If the problem is the annual-contract-only commitment, Sellbrite and Listing Mirror are the two here you can start, price and cancel without a sales call. Zentail itself publishes Base from $300/month and Pro from $2,000/month, annual contracts only, with final pricing “based on annual sales” (zentail.com/pricing, data checked 2026-09-02). Every figure below was read off the vendor’s own page on the same day.

None of these platforms has a self-serve enterprise signup, so nothing below is a hands-on benchmark — it is what each vendor publishes, read on one day so the numbers are comparable.

Pricing model: revenue-metered, order-metered, or a cut of GMV

The sticker price is the least interesting number on this page. What decides the bill three years out is the meter — the thing your invoice is multiplied by — and these seven platforms use three incompatible ones.

Zentail meters revenue. Its FAQ is unambiguous: “Zentail’s pricing is based on your total annual revenue across all connected channels,” and a footnote under the tier grid reads “Final pricing is based on annual sales” (checked 2026-09-02). That is the structural complaint behind most searches for a Zentail alternative. A good year raises your software bill even if order count, SKU count and support load are flat — though the channel connection itself is free: “No, we don’t charge extra for adding sales channels after your contract is signed.” Enterprise customers can buy an “unlimited revenue add-on for your largest channel,” which is the vendor’s own acknowledgement of the problem, available only at the tier with no published price.

Linnworks and Sellercloud meter orders, and both say so in writing. Linnworks’ pricing page states: “Plans are priced on order volume, not revenue–no percentage fees, ever.” Sellercloud’s headline is “Simple, Transparent Per Order Pricing” with “No revenue share. No hidden fees,” starting at $1,349/month, metered “per order volume and add-ons” on an annual subscription (both checked 2026-09-02). Neither is a discount — Sellercloud’s floor is more than four times Zentail’s Base — but the curve behaves differently. An order-metered bill tracks operational load; a revenue-metered bill tracks price points. Sell few, expensive units and that difference compounds against you.

ChannelEngine and Rithum take a percentage. ChannelEngine publishes its structure without publishing a number: an “Onboarding fee: Based on your integration approach,” a “Monthly license fee,” and a “Success-based fee: A percentage of incremental marketplace GMV growth,” with the price shaped by GMV, SKU count, business units and geographic scope (channelengine.com/pricing, checked 2026-09-02). Rithum publishes no price at all — rithum.com/pricing/ returned HTTP 404 on 2026-09-02 — but its terms define a recurring subscription fee plus a variable GMV fee, the percentage written into your SOW; our Rithum review reads those clauses in full (checked 2026-08-14).

So the ranking that matters is not cheapest-to-priciest. It is: flat tier (Sellbrite, Listing Mirror) → connector and order quotas (Flxpoint) → order volume (Linnworks, Sellercloud) → your revenue (Zentail) → a percentage of your GMV (ChannelEngine, Rithum). Moving down that list buys scale and hands back predictability.

Channel coverage: where Zentail stops, and what “unlimited channels” means

Zentail’s integrations directory lists exactly five marketplaces — Amazon, Walmart, Target Plus, eBay and Newegg — plus Shopify, Shopify Plus and BigCommerce on the cart side. Etsy, TikTok Shop, Mercari, Wayfair, Temu and Faire appear nowhere on it (zentail.com/apps, checked 2026-09-02). Walmart and Target Plus are the deliberate emphasis, not an accident of coverage.

PlatformMarketplace coverage as published (checked 2026-09-02)Channels included in the entry plan
Zentail5 named: Amazon, Walmart, Target Plus, eBay, NeweggAll connected channels, no per-channel charge
Sellbrite7 named: Amazon, eBay, Etsy, Walmart, Google Shopping, Sears, Newegg“Unlimited” integrated sales channels on every plan, free one included
Listing MirrorNot published as a countBronze entry tier lists “4 Sales Channels”
FlxpointNot published as a countBusiness plan: 2 channel connectors and 8 source connectors
Sellercloud“150+ Integrations” in the Channels category, “350+” overall; named list includes Etsy, TikTok Shop, Temu, Shein, Target, Wayfair, Best BuyNot broken out by tier
ChannelEngine“Start Selling on 1300+ Local & International Channels”Not broken out; scope is a pricing input
Rithum“600+ marketplaces in the Rithum network”Not published

Two things in that table are easy to misread.

A big headline number is a catalogue, not an entitlement. Sellercloud’s 150+ and ChannelEngine’s 1300+ describe what the platform can connect to, not what your contract includes; on ChannelEngine, geographic scope and business units are named pricing inputs, so breadth is what you are buying.

A small published number can still be the better deal per channel. Sellbrite gives “Unlimited” integrated sales channels on all four plans including Forever Free — a different posture from Flxpoint, whose $799/month Business plan includes two channel connectors, or Listing Mirror, whose $69 Bronze tier covers four. Count the channels you actually need first; two platforms above charge per slot for the ones you add.

Zentail’s narrowness is deliberate. The five marketplaces it supports are the high-volume US general merchandise ones, and Target Plus is not on most of these lists. If your expansion plan is Amazon → Walmart → Target Plus, coverage is not your constraint and the meter is. The inventory and operations hub scores the wider category.

Migration cost: the number no pricing page shows

Switching a multichannel platform is not a software purchase, it is a catalogue re-mapping project, and only some of it is priced publicly.

What is published. Linnworks lists one-time onboarding fees as a component of a quote, and ChannelEngine names an onboarding fee “Based on your integration approach” as one of its three price components. Zentail goes the other way, listing “Onboarding & implementation support,” “Core marketplace integrations,” “Training & resources” and “Ongoing support” under an “Included with every plan” block. Listing Mirror answers the setup-fee question directly — “No, there are no setup fees!” — and states you can cancel at any time (all checked 2026-09-02). Sellercloud and Rithum publish nothing about setup costs.

What is not published is the exit. Zentail’s FAQ commits only to the entry side: “We offer annual contracts to ensure you get the most from your software and long-term support. This stability helps your business grow without disruption, so we do not offer monthly plans” (checked 2026-09-02). It confirms plans can change mid-contract — “Yes! If you outgrow your plan or want to adjust your pricing, our Customer Success team is here to help” — but publishes no termination terms at all. Reviewers on Capterra collected in our research corpus describe being held to the remaining term after disconnecting channels, one paying out seven months in a third contract year; those are undated single-customer accounts, not vendor-confirmed terms, and are detailed in our Zentail review .

The practical consequence. Two of the seven let you test the migration before committing: Sellbrite offers “Free to start + unlimited access for 14 days. No credit card required,” and Listing Mirror a free trial “for up to 10 products, with a 30-day time limit.” Sellercloud’s annual subscription and the three quote-only platforms all put the term inside a negotiated contract. If lock-in is your specific complaint, only the bottom of this list fixes it — the enterprise replacements swap one annual commitment for another.

Settle one question in writing before signing anywhere: whether your existing catalogue data model exports in a form the new platform can ingest, and who does the mapping. Zentail’s central catalogue is built on its own SMART Types product-data layer (zentail.com, checked 2026-09-02); no pricing page here prices the work of unwinding that.

Which alternative fits which seller

Choose Sellbrite if volume is small and channel count matters more than depth. Forever Free covers up to 30 orders/month, Pro 100 is $29/month billed annually for up to 100 orders, Pro 500 is $79 for 500, Pro 2K is $179 for 2,000 — all with unlimited channels (checked 2026-09-02). Above 2,000 orders a month it is not a Zentail replacement, and it lists no Target Plus or TikTok Shop. Our Sellbrite alternatives comparison covers the step up.

Choose Listing Mirror if you want Zentail’s listing job on a monthly bill: six tiers in two columns, listing only from $69 to $499/month and listing plus inventory from $129 to $699/month, no setup fee, cancel any time. The Bronze tier is scoped at 1,000 SKUs, four sales channels and one user, with 300 FBM orders on the $129 listing-plus-inventory column, and exceeding your order limit auto-upgrades you mid-cycle (checked 2026-09-02).

Choose Flxpoint if suppliers are the hard part rather than marketplaces. Business is $799/month, or $699/month billed annually at $8,388 (“12% OFF”), covering 8 source and 2 channel connectors, 3,000 orders/month, 500,000 SKUs and 5 users; Pro raises that to 25 source and 5 channel connectors at an unpublished price (checked 2026-09-02).

Choose Sellercloud if you want Zentail’s shape at enterprise scale with the meter changed: from $1,349/month on an annual subscription, metered per order volume and add-ons, “No revenue share. No hidden fees.” and a channel catalogue covering the marketplaces Zentail omits (checked 2026-09-02). Our Sellercloud alternatives comparison runs the other direction if that floor is too high.

Choose Linnworks if the revenue meter is the objection and you also need warehouse capability. No published price, plan shapes named Linnworks Advanced and SkuVault Core, Listing/WMS/Enhanced Warehouse/Forecasting sold as modules, and a written commitment to order-volume pricing with no percentage fees (checked 2026-09-02). Our Linnworks alternatives guide and the Linnworks vs Extensiv comparison cover what that costs.

Choose ChannelEngine if the expansion is international. 1300+ channels is the widest published number here; the success fee on incremental GMV growth is the trade — you pay more when it works.

Choose Rithum if you are a retailer as much as a brand, for the dropship network none of the others match. Expect no public price and a GMV percentage set in your SOW.

Choose none of them if you run one marketplace plus a Shopify store — your cart’s built-in integration plus a spreadsheet beats every row above, and the guide to Amazon multichannel listing software on amzbase covers when the category starts paying for itself. Extensiv Order Manager is the other quote-only option worth a call if order routing across fulfilment nodes is the real bottleneck.

Accuracy is 3 across the board because none of these platforms can be tested without a contract. Pricing separates the field most sharply: Sellbrite and Listing Mirror score 5 because a buyer can compute the bill before talking to anyone; ChannelEngine and Rithum score 1 because a percentage-of-GMV clause with no published rate cannot be modelled at all. Zentail sits at 3 — two of three floors published, more than most of this category, but a floor times a revenue multiplier is not a budget. Stage Fit rises with the meter, which is the honest summary of this page: the platforms that scale furthest are the ones whose price you can least predict.

Frequently asked questions

What is the cheapest Zentail alternative? Sellbrite’s Forever Free plan at $0/month, up to 30 orders per month with unlimited sales channels; the first paid tier is Pro 100 at $29/month billed annually for up to 100 orders (sellbrite.com/pricing-pro, checked 2026-09-02). It replaces Zentail’s listing and sync job at small volume, not its catalogue depth.

Which Zentail alternatives publish their prices? Four of the seven: Sellbrite, Listing Mirror, Flxpoint (Business tier only) and Sellercloud (a floor of $1,349/month). Linnworks, ChannelEngine and Rithum publish no figures — Rithum’s pricing URL returned a 404 on 2026-09-02 — and Flxpoint’s Pro and Enterprise tiers, like Zentail’s own Enterprise tier, are quote-only.

Is there a Zentail alternative that is not billed on revenue? Yes. Linnworks states that “Plans are priced on order volume, not revenue–no percentage fees, ever,” and Sellercloud advertises per-order pricing with “No revenue share. No hidden fees” (both checked 2026-09-02). Both are quote-shaped or high-floor purchases, so you trade size of bill for predictability of meter.

Which platform supports the most marketplaces? ChannelEngine publishes the largest figure, “1300+ Local & International Channels,” then Rithum at “600+ marketplaces in the Rithum network” and Sellercloud at “150+” in its Channels category (all checked 2026-09-02). Zentail lists five. Headline counts describe reach, not what a given contract includes.

Can I leave Zentail before my contract ends? The vendor publishes no termination terms. Its FAQ confirms only that contracts are annual, that monthly plans are not offered, and that plans can be adjusted mid-contract through Customer Success (checked 2026-09-02). Get the termination clause, notice period and renewal mechanism in writing before signing anywhere in this category — most of these platforms defer all three to a contract rather than a web page.

Is Rithum the same thing as ChannelAdvisor? Rithum is the company ChannelAdvisor became: CommerceHub acquired ChannelAdvisor in 2022 and the group rebranded as Rithum in December 2023. The ChannelAdvisor login still appears in Rithum’s footer alongside OrderStream, DemandStream and Dsco (rithum.com, checked 2026-09-02), and Zentail’s own comparison page uses the same convention, labelling it “Zentail vs. Rithum (ChannelAdvisor).” Our Rithum review covers what the merger changed.
