This Tactical Arbitrage review has to open with a pricing fact rather than a feature list: as of 2026-07-27, tacticalarbitrage.com/pricing/ returns an HTTP 301 redirect to threecolts.com/seller-365, and no Threecolts pricing page lists a Tactical Arbitrage-only plan. The scanner is now one of ten apps inside the Seller 365 bundle, from $69/month. The question is no longer “is a standalone scanner worth $89 a month” — it is “is a ten-app bundle worth $69 when the scanner is the app I want, and can I climb its learning curve before the trial ends?”
That learning curve is measurable. Tactical Arbitrage’s own help centre carries roughly 121 articles across 9 collections (checked 2026-07-27) — 16 on search filters alone, 28 on FAQ and troubleshooting. This is not a tool you open on Tuesday and profit from on Wednesday.
TL;DR
- What it is: a bulk sourcing scanner. Point it at a retail site’s catalogue or upload a wholesale price list, and it matches products to Amazon listings and filters down to what clears your ROI and rank rules. Four search modes in the vendor’s own count — Product Search, Reverse Search, Wholesale Search, Quick Picks — plus Always Be Scanning, the automation layer that keeps them running.
- Coverage (checked 2026-07-27): “1,400+ supported retail sites” and 13 Amazon marketplaces, from the US and UK to Japan and Australia.
- Price: bundle-only. Seller 365 $69/month ($828/year, 1 user); Teams $129/month ($1,428/year, 10 users); Pro $199/month ($2,188/year, 10 users).
- Trial: the Seller 365 pages advertise a “14-day free trial: Get 7 days instantly plus 7 more when you connect your Amazon Seller Pro or Walmart Seller account.” The Tactical Arbitrage homepage still advertises 7 days. The two vendor pages disagree — confirm at signup.
- Hard requirement: the official site states the platform “requires an active Amazon Professional Seller account to conduct live product searches.”
- The recurring complaints: cancellation and refund friction dominates, followed by thin support, trial scans that returned nothing usable, and — in older reviews — search-minute caps that triggered surprise upsells.
- Best for volume OA and wholesale sellers who also want two or three of the bundled apps. Skip it if you buy a handful of deals a month, sell private label, or want a fast one-listing buy/no-buy check.

What Happened to Tactical Arbitrage: The Threecolts Bundle
Tactical Arbitrage spent years as an independent subscription with its own plan ladder. Threecolts — a roll-up that has absorbed a string of Amazon seller tools — now owns it, and the consolidation is finished. Three checks confirm it, all on 2026-07-27: the pricing URL 301-redirects to Seller 365; the official product page shows only Seller 365 pricing with no scanner-only tier; and the homepage’s “Member access” link points to manager.threecolts.com.
The ten apps bundled into every tier are:
Tactical Arbitrage · ScoutIQ · Scoutify · ScoutX · InventoryLab · InventoryLab Accounting · SmartRepricer · FeedbackWhiz Emails · FeedbackWhiz Alerts · FeedbackWhiz Profits
That cuts both ways. If you already pay separately for a repricer, a profit tracker and a feedback tool, $69/month for the set is a real consolidation win and the scanner rides along. If Tactical Arbitrage is the only app you would open, you are paying bundle prices for one seat at a table of ten, and you cannot buy it down — the à la carte option no longer exists.
For context on the standalone era: an official Tactical Arbitrage blog post dated 2024-04-08 announced new annual plans named Flip Pack ($590), Wholesale ($690), Online Arbitrage ($890), WS + OA ($1,090), Full Suite ($1,290) and Pro ($1,490). Those names still appear in older third-party reviews and in the complaints quoted below; none is purchasable now.
What Tactical Arbitrage Actually Does
Strip the plan history away and the product is a bulk matching engine with four search modes — the vendor’s own count — plus an automation layer that keeps them running (names and coverage from the official product page, checked 2026-07-27):
| Module | What it does | Who uses it |
|---|---|---|
| Product Search | Scans a supported retail site’s catalogue and matches products to Amazon listings, filtered by your ROI, margin, rank and seller-count rules | Core OA sourcing |
| Reverse Search | Starts from an Amazon product and hunts for a cheaper source across supported sites | Replenishing proven ASINs |
| Wholesale Search | Ingests a supplier price list (UPC or ASIN) and scores the whole catalogue | Wholesale buyers vetting a supplier |
| Quick Picks | Pre-run, ready-to-review leads instead of a scan you configure | Beginners, or a fast daily skim |
| Always Be Scanning (automation, not a search mode) | Keeps scans running continuously rather than one-off | Volume sourcers |
The homepage adds quick search against cached retailer data, custom price filtering, a library search for books, and competitor and pricing analysis.
Coverage is why people pick it: 1,400+ supported retail sites and 13 marketplaces with localised fee handling. No on-page extension competes on that axis — an extension analyses one listing at a time, this analyses a catalogue at a time. That trade is also the source of the learning curve: a per-product tool has almost no configuration, a catalogue scanner is entirely configuration.
Tactical Arbitrage Pricing 2026
Every route to the scanner runs through a Seller 365 plan. All three tiers include the same ten apps; what changes is seats, support speed, app tier and one Pro-only benefit.
| Plan | Monthly | Annual (billed once) | Users | Support response |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Seller 365 | $69/month | $828/year | 1 | 24 hours |
| Seller 365 Teams | $129/month | $1,428/year (≈$119/month) | 10 | 24 hours |
| Seller 365 Pro | $199/month | $2,188/year (≈$183/month) | 10 | 30 minutes |
Pricing checked 2026-07-27 on threecolts.com/seller-365/pricing. Confirm on the vendor’s page before subscribing.
Three things the table does not show:
- The entry tier gets no annual discount. $828 is exactly 12 × $69. Only Teams and Pro save anything up front ($120 and $200 a year).
- The scanner’s per-tier limits are published — and they are narrower than the price gap suggests. The official product page’s feature comparison lists, for Tactical Arbitrage: searches at once 7 / 10 / 10, scheduled searches 30 / 30 / 40, and result limits 25k / 25k / 50k across Seller 365 / Teams / Pro (checked 2026-07-27). Pro also ships “Pro versions of all apps”. Measured against the entry tier, Pro adds three concurrent searches, ten scheduled ones and double the saved-result ceiling; measured against Teams, it adds only the scheduled searches and the result ceiling.
- Pro’s headline extra is reimbursements — but check whether the offer is still live. The Pro plan card reads “free up to $1M in sales” for FBA reimbursement recovery, followed by “0% offer ends July 7, 2026.” That date had already passed when we checked on 2026-07-27, and the Seller 365 pricing page still lists “Free reimbursements” under Pro with no end date at all — the two vendor pages disagree. Pro is $130/month more than base, so ask Threecolts in writing whether the reimbursement offer still stands before you price the upgrade on it. Price a dedicated tool against it either way: ReimburseOps scans your sales report for lost or damaged inventory and over-charged fees claimable inside Amazon’s filing window, and our Amazon reimbursement primer covers what is claimable before you pay anyone a percentage.
The 2024-04-08 post also stated that plans moved to “unlimited scanning minutes”, replacing per-month minute caps with limits on concurrent and queued searches — 4 concurrent and 3 queued for non-Pro, 10 and 20 for Pro. Those 2024 figures no longer match what Threecolts publishes: the current per-tier limits are the 7 / 10 / 10 concurrent and 30 / 30 / 40 scheduled searches listed above (checked 2026-07-27), so read the older caps as history only. It matters when reading older reviews: the “you exceeded your minutes, pay more” complaints predate the change.
The Learning Curve, Measured
Here is the least subjective proxy available for “is it worth the learning curve”: the size of the manual. The help centre holds roughly 121 articles across 9 collections (checked 2026-07-27).
| Collection | Articles |
|---|---|
| FAQ & Troubleshooting | 28 |
| Tactical Arbitrage Lite | 19 |
| Search Filters | 16 |
| View Results | 13 |
| Subscription Management | 12 |
| Search Features | 11 |
| Getting Started | 9 |
| Analysis Tools | 7 |
| Account & Setup | 6 |
Read the shape, not the total. Sixteen articles on filters and thirteen on reading results show where the time goes: not finding the buttons, but learning which combination of ROI floor, BSR ceiling, seller-count cap and brand exclusions turns a scan of tens of thousands of SKUs into a shortlist worth buying from. Nine “Getting Started” articles get you scanning; the other 112 stand between scanning and profiting. Threecolts also points users to Threecolts University, a blog and podcasts.
Two practical consequences. The trial is tight — a scan you misconfigure on day two teaches you something on day four, so plan to spend it learning rather than expecting it to pay for itself. And the Pro seller account gate bites first: live searches require an active Amazon Professional Seller account, so if you are researching before opening one you cannot fully evaluate the product while the clock runs.
One collection name in that table needs decoding: “Tactical Arbitrage Lite” (19 articles) is an interface, not a cut-down plan. Two articles in the FAQ and troubleshooting collection spell it out (checked 2026-07-27): TA Lite is the mode “designed for guided workflows and a cleaner first experience” — covering Product Finder, Reverse Search, Wholesale Search, Quick Picks, search history and Track — while TA Classic is “the original Tactical Arbitrage interface”. You switch between the two from a drop-down at the top of the screen, and the choice is independent of your Seller 365 tier; the vendor’s own advice is that newcomers start on Lite because the workflows are easier to follow. For the learning-curve question that means those 19 articles document an alternative front end, not a separate product you might be missing.
What Reviewers Complain About
The quotes below are verbatim from third-party review platforms, with dates. They are not our own hands-on test — we have not run a paid account through the product. Read them as a trial checklist.
1. Cancellation and refunds — by far the largest cluster, spanning years. “This company charged my business $89 after the trial period ended. I was unable to cancel my account because the menu is overly complicated, and it appears that the cancellation option is intentionally obscured. I contacted support for help with the cancellation and refund process, but they did not assist me.” (Trustpilot, 1★, 2024-07-22). More briefly: “The software didn’t work correctly for me. I asked them for a refund and they said they don’t issue refunds under any circumstance.” (Trustpilot, 1★, 2022-09-12).
2. Scans that returned nothing worth buying. The product’s whole promise is deal flow, and several trial users report none. “I used the free 10 day trial, was not able to find good deals at all. So canceled my subscription because will not make enough profit.” (Trustpilot, 2★, 2024-01-29). From a review site: “Did not find a single product during trial. There are also a ton of mismatches, where UPC codes on one site do not match Amazon.” (Web Retailer, 2017-04-22). UPC match quality is a structural risk for any catalogue-matching engine, not a bug unique to this one — which is exactly why a trial should stress-test it.
3. Support depth. A reviewer who explicitly liked the software still flagged it: “Tactical Arbitrage has always been notorius [sic] for having a non existent customer sevice [sic], the software itself is very good, but people that are supposed to help you never know the answer to any questions or provide wrong answers.” (Trustpilot, 1★, 2023-09-22). An earlier one on onboarding: “Signed up for the free trial but no instructions on how to use site. Lots of unfamiliar buttons which is very confusing.” (Trustpilot, 1★, 2019-10-15). Seller 365’s published targets are 24 hours on base tiers and 30 minutes on Pro — if support speed is your worry, that is what the Pro premium buys.
4. Limits and surprise upsells (largely historical). “After paying the subscription for Online Arbitrage, I started searching. After a few days, they warned me that I exceeded the search minutes per month. So for other minutes I will have to pay an extra fee.” (Trustpilot, 1★, 2023-01-11). Both this and a matching Web Retailer complaint dated 2023-01-24 predate the April 2024 move to unlimited scanning minutes, which is the vendor’s own answer to the category.
One more, because it names the module many sellers upgrade for: “the software doesn’t do half of the things it is supposed to do; the reverse search which is the most important tool for my company simply don’t work.” (Web Retailer, 2022-05-18). If Reverse Search is your reason for buying, prove it on your own ASINs inside the trial.
What the Official Terms Say About Refunds
Because refunds are the biggest complaint cluster, we read the vendor’s own documents rather than relying on reviews. Two official sources, both checked 2026-07-27.
The Tactical Arbitrage terms of use (page metadata shows last updated July 26, 2022) state: “There will be no liability to provide any form of refund by Tactical Arbitrage or it’s owners after a weekly, monthly, or annual cycle has already started and been paid for.” The same document adds that “Cancellation within a trial (before any charge has been made), will incur no further charges” and — the clause worth reading twice — that “correspondence through email, social media, or verbally does not in any way guarantee a subscription will be terminated.” The support knowledge base restates it: “refunds are NOT available for weekly, monthly, or annual memberships once the subscription period begins.”
So the reviews and the policy agree: the refusals people describe are the published terms working as written. Three concrete consequences:
- Cancel through the account UI, not by emailing support, and keep the confirmation — the terms explicitly disclaim email and chat as valid termination.
- Diary the trial end date on signup day. Once the first cycle bills, the published policy offers no refund route.
- Note the trial-length conflict. The 2022 terms say seven days; the 2026 Seller 365 pages say 14, split 7 + 7. The deadline is the earlier of what you were shown.
Charging disputes in the reviews reference sums well beyond a monthly fee — one 2023-01-27 Trustpilot reviewer describes accidentally signing up for a year. Annual billing plus a no-refund policy is expensive to get wrong, so a first subscription is safer monthly, even though Teams and Pro discount the annual.
Tactical Arbitrage Scorecard
Scores reflect our analysis of official documentation and verified user reviews (checked 2026-07-27) against our 8-dimension scorecard methodology . They are informed judgment, not a controlled lab benchmark.
| Dimension | Score | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Accuracy | 3.0 / 5 | Widest site coverage available, but UPC/ASIN mismatch reports go back years; match quality is the known weak point of catalogue scanning. |
| Ease of use | 2.0 / 5 | 121 help articles, 16 on filters alone; multiple reviewers describe an unguided first session. |
| Depth | 4.5 / 5 | Four distinct search modes including wholesale manifest analysis and reverse search, plus continuous scanning. |
| Automation | 4.0 / 5 | Always Be Scanning plus queued and concurrent scans; unlimited scanning minutes per the 2024 pricing change. |
| Team fit | 3.5 / 5 | One seat at $69; ten seats only from the $129 Teams tier upward. |
| Support | 2.0 / 5 | 24-hour published target on base tiers, with a long-running review pattern of unhelpful answers; 30 minutes is a Pro upsell. |
| Pricing | 3.0 / 5 | $69 for ten apps is good value if you use several; no way to buy the scanner alone, and no annual discount at entry. |
| Stage fit | 3.0 / 5 | Strong for volume OA and wholesale; poor for beginners, low-volume buyers and private label. |
The shape is consistent: a deep, wide, automatable tool with a steep on-ramp and thin support. Ease and Support decide whether the rest of the card ever pays off for you.
Who Should Use It — and Who Shouldn’t
Use it if you source OA or wholesale at volume, you already want two or three of the bundled apps, you sell in one of the 13 supported marketplaces with an active Pro seller account, and you can budget a week of unpaid learning. At $69/month for ten apps the maths works in your favour as soon as the bundle replaces two existing subscriptions.
Skip it if you buy a handful of deals a month — the per-deal cost of a bulk scanner never amortises; you sell private label and need keyword and demand research instead of sourcing scans; you want a fast buy/no-buy check on one listing at a time; or you are shopping for Tactical Arbitrage specifically and do not want the other nine apps, because that purchase no longer exists.
New to arbitrage entirely? Start with the workflow before the software: our retail arbitrage primer covers the sourcing loop a scanner is meant to accelerate, and the free FBA calculators roundup lets you check deal maths at zero cost while you decide.
Alternatives, Briefly
If your bottleneck is the buy/no-buy decision on one listing at a time, an on-page extension is far cheaper — RevSeller is $99.99/year (checked 2026-07-27) for an on-listing profit and variation panel, about 12% of Seller 365’s annual cost, and SellerAmp and BuyBotPro occupy the same niche with eligibility checks added.
If you want research breadth for private label rather than arbitrage sourcing, Helium 10 is the suite most sellers move to: product and keyword research, listing tools and a Chrome extension in one subscription. Its full Profits and P&L reporting sits on the Diamond plan, not the entry tier — Platinum includes only limited profit reporting (Helium 10 plan boundaries checked 2026-07-20).
Whatever scanner you run, you still want price and rank history to tell a genuine deal from a temporary spike — Keepa is the standard companion, and Keepa alternatives ranks the substitutes by why sellers switch.
For a head-to-head on scanners specifically — cost per scan, site coverage, and which ones still sell standalone — see Tactical Arbitrage alternatives ; the product research workflow hub puts these in one stack view.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is Tactical Arbitrage worth it in 2026? For volume OA and wholesale sellers who will use several of the bundled apps and can absorb a steep learning curve, $69/month is defensible. It is poor value if you buy few deals, want only the scanner, or expect results inside a two-week trial.
How much does Tactical Arbitrage cost? There is no standalone price. It is included in Threecolts Seller 365: $69/month ($828/year, 1 user), Teams $129/month ($1,428/year, 10 users), Pro $199/month ($2,188/year, 10 users). Checked 2026-07-27.
Does Tactical Arbitrage have a free trial? The Seller 365 pages advertise a “14-day free trial: Get 7 days instantly plus 7 more when you connect your Amazon Seller Pro or Walmart Seller account.” The Tactical Arbitrage homepage and the 2022 terms of use both specify seven days. Confirm the length you are actually given at signup (checked 2026-07-27).
Can I get a refund? Per the vendor’s knowledge base, “refunds are NOT available for weekly, monthly, or annual memberships once the subscription period begins.” The terms of use say the same and add that cancelling by email, chat or social media does not guarantee termination — cancel in account settings and keep proof.
Do I need an Amazon Professional Seller account? Yes for live scanning. The official site states the platform “requires an active Amazon Professional Seller account to conduct live product searches.”
Which marketplaces does it support? Thirteen — USA, Canada, Mexico, Britain, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Netherlands, Sweden, Poland, Japan and Australia — with localised fee handling, per the Threecolts product page (checked 2026-07-27). The Tactical Arbitrage homepage still says “12 Amazon marketplaces”; as with the trial length, the two vendor pages disagree, so confirm your marketplace is covered before subscribing.
