The short answer: the best Tactical Arbitrage alternative depends on which half of the tool you actually used — because you can no longer buy Tactical Arbitrage on its own. As of 2026-07-27, tacticalarbitrage.com/pricing returns a 301 redirect to threecolts.com/seller-365, and the cheapest way in is the Seller 365 bundle at $69/month — ten apps, one subscription.
- You used it to scan retailer sites in bulk → SourceMogul , the closest like-for-like scanner, £58.33/month billed annually.
- You used it to judge deals someone else found → SellerAmp SAS at $19.95/month, or AZInsight at $7.95/month.
- You want the cheapest on-page calculator that just works → RevSeller , $99.99/year (about $8.33/month).
- You want the buy/no-buy call automated → BuyBotPro , from $33.29/month billed annually.
- You only ever used the wholesale manifest analyzer → Scan Unlimited , which has a permanent free plan.
- You want the raw data and none of the scoring → Keepa , free on the product page.
This guide ranks each option by true cost — what you pay to do the job you opened Tactical Arbitrage for, not the headline entry price. Every figure carries the date it was checked against that vendor’s own page, and every complaint below is backed by a short, dated quote from a published review, reproduced exactly as written. For the tool itself — features, scan engine, whether it is still worth $69 — see our Tactical Arbitrage review . For the wider category, see the Amazon product research tools workflow .
What Tactical Arbitrage costs in 2026 (data checked 2026-07-27)
This is the part most “alternatives” lists have not caught up with. Tactical Arbitrage is a Threecolts property, folded into Seller 365. Requesting https://tacticalarbitrage.com/pricing/ on 2026-07-27 returns HTTP/2 301 with location: https://www.threecolts.com/seller-365 — there is no standalone price page left to read.
Seller 365 publishes three tiers (threecolts.com/seller-365/pricing, checked 2026-07-27):
| Plan | Monthly billing | Annual billing | Users | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Seller 365 | $69/mo | $69/mo — $828 billed once | 1 | The 10 apps, including Tactical Arbitrage |
| Seller 365 Teams | $129/mo | $119/mo — $1,428 billed once (listed as $1,548 before a $120 discount) | 10 | Same 10 apps, more seats |
| Seller 365 Pro | $199/mo | $183/mo — $2,188 billed once (listed as $2,388 before a $200 discount) | 10 | Pro versions of the apps, free FBA reimbursements for sellers with up to $1M in sales, 30-minute support response |
The ten apps are Tactical Arbitrage, ScoutIQ, Scoutify, ScoutX, InventoryLab, InventoryLab Accounting, SmartRepricer, FeedbackWhiz Emails, FeedbackWhiz Alerts and FeedbackWhiz Profits. Reimbursements is not one of the ten: free FBA reimbursements sit inside the Pro tier’s own feature list, and the page limits them to “Sellers with up to $1M in sales” (threecolts.com/seller-365/pricing, checked 2026-07-27).
That cuts both ways. Use four or more of those apps and $69/month is a good deal — InventoryLab plus a repricer plus a scanner for less than many sellers pay for the repricer alone. Use one, and you are paying $828 a year for a scanner and ignoring nine apps. The bundle is why people search for a Tactical Arbitrage alternative in 2026, and also why some of them should stay.
One caveat on the trial: Threecolts describes a “14-day free trial: Get 7 days instantly plus 7 more when you connect your Amazon Seller Pro or Walmart Seller account”, while tacticalarbitrage.com still advertises “Try Tactical Arbitrage for 7 days. No commitments.” Both were live on 2026-07-27.

Why sellers look for a Tactical Arbitrage alternative
Tactical Arbitrage has been the default OA scanner for the better part of a decade, and the software itself still gets credit even in one-star reviews. The complaints cluster into three groups. Read the dates carefully — most describe standalone billing at $59, $89 or $129 a month, a purchase path that no longer exists.
Scans that return nothing, or return the wrong product. The most persistent theme is match quality: “Did not find a single product during trial. There are also a ton of mismatches, where UPC codes on one site do not match Amazon” (WebRetailer, 2017-04-22). A 2022 reviewer was blunter about one module: “the software doesn’t do half of the things it is supposed to do; the reverse search which is the most important tool for my company simply don’t work” (WebRetailer, 2022-05-18). And on Trustpilot in 2024: “I used the free 10 day trial, was not able to find good deals at all” (2 stars, 2024-01-29). Spread across seven years, that is not one bad quarter.
Metered scanning, and paying again to unlock more of it. Reviewers describe hitting limits they did not know existed: “Paid $89 for 1 month and after 1 week of use, they are saying I’m at my limits and have to pay more” (WebRetailer, 2023-01-24), and “After a few days, they warned me that I exceeded the search minutes per month. So for other minutes I will have to pay an extra fee” (Trustpilot, 1 star, 2023-01-11). We could not confirm what caps apply under the current Seller 365 plans — the Threecolts pricing page publishes app lists and seat counts, not scan allowances (checked 2026-07-27).
Cancellation, refunds and support. The largest cluster in the review corpus we hold. “This company charged my business $89 after the trial period ended. I was unable to cancel my account because the menu is overly complicated, and it appears that the cancellation option is intentionally obscured” (Trustpilot, 1 star, 2024-07-22). On support, one long-time user gave the fairest summary in the set: “Tactical Arbitrage has always been notorius for having a non existent customer sevice, the software itself is very good, but people that are supposed to help you never know the answer to any questions or provide wrong answers” (Trustpilot, 1 star, 2023-09-22). Spelling is the reviewer’s.
Two reviewers named their replacement outright: “wayy more expensive than source mogul” (Trustpilot, 1 star, 2021-03-10) and “Tried to do a scan which seemed to go on for days (unlike Source Mogul that is very quick) and it returned nothing” (Trustpilot, 1 star, 2019-10-15). Both are years old and both products have been rebuilt since, and we have not benchmarked the two scanners against the same retailer list ourselves.

SourceMogul — the closest like-for-like scanner
What it replaces: the core Tactical Arbitrage job — point software at hundreds of retailer sites, match every product to its Amazon listing, filter down to what clears your ROI bar. It is the only tool here that does that end to end, across five modules: The Locker (24/7 automated retailer scanning), Retailer Scan (custom links, with your own discount codes, cashback and staff rates in the profit maths), Amazon to Amazon (including EU-to-UK flips), an Online Stock Checker, and wholesale list upload. Best for sellers whose workflow is “run scans overnight, review the shortlist in the morning” — especially UK sellers.
Pricing: £79.99/month month-to-month, or £58.33/month billed annually at £699.99/year, both including a 7-day free trial and what the page calls “Lifetime access to our Chrome Extension” (sourcemogul.com/pricing, checked 2026-07-27). There is no feature ladder, and the FAQ is unusually direct about it: “All subscribers get full access to every feature and unlimited support, regardless of which plan they choose.”
Limitations: two, and both matter. It is priced in pounds — a US card adds a foreign-transaction spread, and £58.33 is the same order of money as the whole $69 bundle, so this is a swap for focus rather than a way to cut the bill. And the site currently carries a relaunch banner reading “🇬🇧 Live today. 🇺🇸 Next stop: USA” while the same page claims coverage of “700+ UK & US retailers” (sourcemogul.com, checked 2026-07-27). If you sell on amazon.com, confirm US retailer coverage on the trial before committing to a year.
SellerAmp SAS — the cheapest way to make the buy decision
What it replaces: the half of Tactical Arbitrage you use once a product is already in front of you — profit after fees, ROI, sales rank, whether you are allowed to sell it. Best for sellers who source from deal lists or sourcing groups and never really used the scan engine.
Pricing: Getting Started $19.95/month, Getting Serious $29.95/month, Going Pro $49.95/month, with “Annual billing gives 2 months free” and “All plans start with a 14-day free trial and can be cancelled anytime” (selleramp.com/pricing, checked 2026-07-27). Every plan includes the profit calculator with fees, ROI and profit, eligibility and IP alerts, historical price and sales charts, Buy Box analysis, and the Chrome extension, web app and mobile app.
Limitations: SellerAmp is a decision tool, not a discovery tool. It tells you whether the item in your basket is worth buying; it will not go and find the basket. If the scan engine was why you paid for Tactical Arbitrage, this is a downgrade, not a replacement. The pricing page also does not publish per-tier usage caps, so ask support which apply before paying. If you work stores in person too, our retail arbitrage guide covers that workflow.
AZInsight — the same job, at half the price
What it replaces: the same on-page analysis role as SellerAmp, with restrictions and hazmat checking pushed to the front. Best for cost-sensitive sellers, and anyone selling on both Amazon and Walmart.
Pricing: Starter $7.95/month or $59.95/year; Advanced $19.95/month or $149.95/year, discounted to $114.95/year for new customers at the time of checking. The site advertises a 30-day trial on every plan — “No credit card required to start your trial, and we offer a 14-day money-back guarantee after your trial ends”, with the FAQ confirming “you can start your 30-day free trial without entering any payment information” (asinzen.com, checked 2026-07-27). Advanced covers the FBA/FBM profit calculator, the ScanEZ mobile app, stock checker and variations viewer, ASIN historical data, a Google Sheets add-on, sales estimates and the Walmart WFS/FBM calculator. Starter is restrictions-only — hazmat checker, brand alerts, seller restrictions checker, two sub-accounts.
Limitations: Starter has no profit calculator, so for most sellers the real entry point is Advanced at $19.95/month — level with SellerAmp’s cheapest tier, not the $7.95 headline. Like SellerAmp, it analyses; it does not discover. The pricing page also runs a countdown timer and a “people are viewing this page right now” counter, so treat the discounted annual figure as promotional rather than a stable list price.
RevSeller — one plan, no upsell path
What it replaces: the profit-and-variations overlay, and nothing else — ROI, margin, FBA and MFN seller counts, category and rank, directly under the product title on Amazon. Best for sellers tired of tier ladders; the variation viewer is the specific reason clothing and shoe sourcers keep it.
Pricing: one plan. “$99.99/year — $8.33/month billed annually. Full access, product updates, and support”, with monthly billing “Available at checkout for $19.99/month” and a “30-day free trial. No payment information required” (revseller.com, checked 2026-07-27).
Limitations: the narrowest tool here — no scanning, no wholesale list analysis, no mobile app, no restrictions checker, and it requires SP-API authorization on your seller account. RevSeller’s own FAQ is candid about the numbers: “While we strive for accuracy, sometimes there is not enough data available from Amazon for an exact estimate of fees or other data. We encourage you to check the data with Amazon’s calculator or in the manage inventory page fee estimates before making product decisions.” Our RevSeller review goes deeper on where the estimator drifts.
BuyBotPro — the buy decision, automated
What it replaces: the judgement layer. BuyBotPro scores a deal against criteria you set — ROI, BSR percentage, profit floor — and returns a verdict rather than a spreadsheet, with an IP-risk check attached. Best for high deal volume, and teams where a VA does the first pass.
Pricing (US): month-to-month, Basic $39.95, Pro $54.95, Enterprise $129.95. Billed annually, Basic $33.29/month ($399.50/year), Pro $45.79/month ($549.50/year, marked “Most Popular”), Enterprise $108.29/month ($1,299.50/year). All carry a 30-day free trial, unlimited scans and what the page calls a “‘Grandfathered’ Price - Never Pay More!” (buybotpro.com, checked 2026-07-27). Basic includes 5 device licences, Pro 10. The UK price table also lists a LITE tier at £11.95/month capped at 1,200 scans across 3 licences; that tier does not appear on the US table.
Limitations: BuyBotPro analyses deals, it does not find them — BuyBotWholesale reads your CSV or XLSX price lists, but there is no retailer crawl equivalent to Tactical Arbitrage’s scan engine. At $45.79/month annually it is also not the cheap option: that is $10/month under the entire Seller 365 bundle. The “Suspension Safeguard” attached to Pro and Enterprise is a service from what the page calls “our sister company, GetUnSuspended”, not a software feature.
Scan Unlimited — free, if wholesale lists are all you scan
What it replaces: Tactical Arbitrage’s wholesale manifest analysis, specifically — upload a supplier price list, get back what is profitable. Best for wholesale sellers, and anyone who wants to test a supplier list this week without a subscription.
Pricing: the Limited plan is $0/month — one file upload per month, 10,000 products per file, basic Keepa charts, product detail access. Unlimited is $70/month, or $60/month on the annual plan the page labels “2 months free”, with unlimited uploads, 100,000 products per upload and Keepa charts with sales rank history. The page opens with “Start FREE. No credit card required”, and the FAQ says the free plan “is essentially a perpetual free trial” (scanunlimited.com/pricing, checked 2026-07-27). Scan Unlimited is part of the Carbon6 ecosystem.
Limitations: it scans lists you supply — no retailer crawling at all, so it replaces one Tactical Arbitrage module and ignores the rest. It also requires an Amazon Professional Seller account, since it uses your credentials to query Amazon’s products API. One file a month is genuinely useful for evaluating a new supplier and genuinely useless as a daily workflow.
The free floor: Keepa
If price and rank history is what you were reading Tactical Arbitrage’s charts for, Keepa gives you that free on every Amazon product page — interactive price history, price alerts and Deals, no card required. That is the floor under this whole category, and many OA sellers run it permanently alongside whatever else they pay for.
The paid step up unlocks data requests — Product Finder, tracking, exports and the API. Keepa blocks automated price checks, so we are not treating its figure as confirmed: 2026 third-party listings put the single data plan at €19–€29/month, with €290/year (roughly €16/month) the annual figure those sources agree on. Verify it on keepa.com before subscribing, and note it bills in euros. Our Keepa and CamelCamelCamel guide walks through the workflow; Keepa alternatives covers the rest of the field.
Limitations: Product Finder filters the catalog by rank, price, review count and category — a product-level lens with no retailer side at all. It will never tell you that Target has a clearance line worth flipping.
How to choose your Tactical Arbitrage alternative
Work backwards from which module you actually opened. Scan engine → SourceMogul at £58.33/month annually, after confirming US retailer coverage on the trial. Profit calculator → SellerAmp at $19.95/month, or AZInsight Advanced at the same price if you also sell on Walmart. Cheapest ROI display → RevSeller at $99.99/year. Decision made for you at volume → BuyBotPro at $45.79/month annually. Supplier lists only → Scan Unlimited’s free plan. Charts only → Keepa, free.
The uncomfortable arithmetic: SellerAmp at $19.95 plus Scan Unlimited’s free plan plus Keepa’s free chart comes to $19.95/month against $69 for Seller 365 — but that stack cannot scan a retailer site, the one thing Tactical Arbitrage is known for. The only true like-for-like swap is SourceMogul, and at £58.33/month it does not save you money; it saves you nine apps you were not using. If you use InventoryLab, a repricer and a scanner, Seller 365 at $69 is honestly hard to beat — our InventoryLab review covers the piece of the bundle most people underestimate.
Building the stack around it
A common structure after leaving Seller 365: one scanner (SourceMogul, or nothing if you buy from lists), one on-page analyser (SellerAmp, AZInsight or RevSeller), Keepa’s free chart, and a separate prep-and-ship workflow — exactly the gap InventoryLab was filling inside the bundle. Budget for that before you cancel.
The other thing that leaves with the bundle is reimbursements. Seller 365 puts free FBA reimbursements on the Pro tier at $183/month billed annually, and only for sellers with up to $1M in sales (threecolts.com/seller-365/pricing, checked 2026-07-27); the recovery services that usually replace it take a percentage of what they recover. ReimburseOps is one flat-fee alternative: it audits Seller Central CSV exports against four detection rules — missing sourcing costs, under-reimbursed payouts, inconsistent valuations and cost-definition warnings — and states “No commission, ever”. The free tier runs the full audit but shows only three flagged records in detail; Pro is $19/month for unlimited records, monthly re-scans and 60-day window alerts (reimburseops.com, checked 2026-07-27). It works from CSV uploads and never asks for Seller Central access — which also means it does not file claims for you.
Moving from arbitrage into wholesale accounts changes the sourcing question entirely: our Amazon wholesale guide covers what replaces retailer scanning, and SmartScout alternatives the brand-level research tools above it.
How amzfinder compares seller tools
Every tool here is assessed on eight dimensions — Accuracy, Ease, Depth, Automation, Team Fit, Support, Pricing and Stage Fit. For a Tactical Arbitrage replacement, Depth and Pricing decide it, and they pull against each other: the only tool matching Tactical Arbitrage’s depth costs about as much as the bundle it sits in, while everything cheaper here replaces one module rather than the product. The full method is on our scorecards page .
FAQ: Tactical Arbitrage alternatives
Can you still buy Tactical Arbitrage on its own?
Not through a published price page. On 2026-07-27, https://tacticalarbitrage.com/pricing/ returned an HTTP 301 redirect to https://www.threecolts.com/seller-365, and the Threecolts pricing page lists only Seller 365 plans — $69/month for 1 user, $119/month annually for 10 users, $183/month annually for Pro. Tactical Arbitrage is one of the ten apps inside all three.
What is the cheapest Tactical Arbitrage alternative? Free, if wholesale lists are your use case: Scan Unlimited’s Limited plan gives one 10,000-product upload a month with no card required, and Keepa’s price-history chart is free on every product page. Among paid tools, RevSeller is $99.99/year (about $8.33/month) and AZInsight Starter $7.95/month — but Starter excludes the profit calculator, so the practical floor for deal analysis is AZInsight Advanced or SellerAmp at $19.95/month (all checked 2026-07-27).
Which alternative actually scans retailer websites? SourceMogul is the only one here that does — scheduled retailer scans, matched to Amazon listings, with profit, ROI and rank calculated, at £79.99/month or £58.33/month billed annually (sourcemogul.com/pricing, checked 2026-07-27). SellerAmp, AZInsight, RevSeller and BuyBotPro all analyse products you bring them; Scan Unlimited reads price lists you upload.
Do the Tactical Arbitrage refund complaints still apply? The complaints are real and published, but most describe standalone billing at $59, $89 or $129 a month between 2019 and 2024 — a purchase path that no longer exists. Terms are now set by Threecolts, whose page advertises a 14-day trial (7 days, plus 7 more once you connect a seller account) while tacticalarbitrage.com still shows 7 days; neither page publishes a refund policy (both checked 2026-07-27). Diarise the trial end date rather than relying on one.
