The short answer: the right RevSeller alternative is decided by the wall you just hit, not by which extension has the longest feature list. RevSeller is deliberately narrow — a flat $99.99/year on-page calculator that runs on Amazon.com and Amazon.ca, in Chrome, one product at a time — and each of those limits points at a different replacement.

What RevSeller costs, and what it will not do (data checked 2026-07-30)
RevSeller has one plan and no ladder: $99.99/year, presented as $8.33/month billed annually, or $19.99/month at checkout, and the page opens with “Start with a 30-day free trial. No payment information required.” That no-card trial is unusual in this category and is worth using before you replace anything.
The homepage feature list is short by design: an on-page real-time calculator, ROI and profit margin, the number of FBA and MFN sellers, quick links and layout customisation. Alongside those, there is the variation grid, which the homepage feature list does not mention but which reviewers do (see below).
Two constraints come straight from RevSeller’s own page, and they are the reason most of this article exists:
- Marketplaces: “The extension is currently available for use on the Amazon.com and Amazon.ca marketplaces. It will not yet work for .co.uk, etc.”
- Browser: “Currently it is only available for use in the Google Chrome browser.”
Three more limits are structural rather than quoted. RevSeller shows a listing’s current state, not its price or rank history. It runs no gating, restriction or hazmat check, so it cannot tell you whether you may sell the item you just costed. And it works one product page at a time — no bulk upload, no price-list analysis, no storefront scanning. These are not defects; they are the trade that keeps the price at $99.99 a year.
Why sellers look for a RevSeller alternative
The published complaint corpus is small and old — three dated Chrome Web Store reviews, the most recent from 2021 — so treat them as a trial checklist rather than current defects. Two themes matter.
The calculator drifting from Amazon’s own numbers. “The FBA calculator is always off when ever I compare it to amazon revenue calculator and their support really sucks. There is only an FAQ. I am going to look for a something better.” (Chrome Web Store, 1 star, 2019-03-21). For a tool whose entire output is a profit figure you will bet inventory money on, this is the one to verify yourself — and it doubles as the support complaint, echoed by a three-star reviewer in 2017.
Variation data failing. “I have tried it multiple times. After I have it’s paid version, every time I try to find Review counts for the variations, I got the following error “API error”” (Chrome Web Store, 1 star, 2021-09-19). Overlay extensions scrape a page structure Amazon changes often; AZInsight drew a near-identical complaint in June 2026, quoted below.
These are third-party accounts, not our findings. What they do not include is a single complaint about price — which tells you where RevSeller still wins.

SellerAmp SAS — the like-for-like swap that crosses borders
What it replaces: the whole RevSeller panel, plus the two things it refuses to do — international marketplaces and eligibility checks. Best for anyone sourcing beyond Amazon.com and .ca, or buying blind on gated brands.
Pricing: three tiers — “Getting Started $19.95/month, Getting Serious $29.95/month, Going Pro $49.95/month”, with UK pricing available and annual billing giving 2 months free. The entry tier is unusually complete: “Every plan includes the profit calculator with fees, ROI and profit, eligibility and IP alerts, historical price and sales charts, Buy Box analysis, and the Chrome extension, web app and mobile app. All plans start with a 14-day free trial and can be cancelled anytime” (selleramp.com/pricing, checked 2026-07-30). The homepage states coverage plainly: “Available in 7 marketplaces[:] United States United Kingdom Canada France Germany Spain Italy”.
That one $19.95 tier answers three RevSeller limits at once — marketplaces, gating and history — and adds a phone app for in-store scanning, which matters if your sourcing is partly retail arbitrage .
Where it is weaker. One complaint is regional and hits the number you buy on: “The Seller Amp software’s feature that estimates monthly sales based on reviews, unfortunately, does not work in the USA and Canada. I have reported this issue multiple times but have not received any response” (Chrome Web Store, 1 star, 2024-12-05). Another hits the extension’s reliability: “Great tool - I have to redownloaded it like 10 times a day literally because it doesn’t work on the amazon pages, it wont load.” (Chrome Web Store, 3 stars, 2024-12-30). Test both inside the 14 days. The cost gap is real too: $19.95/month is $239.40 a year against RevSeller’s $99.99, or $199.50 with the annual discount. AZInsight — the gating check RevSeller never had
What it replaces: the “can I even sell this” question, which RevSeller answers not at all. Best for sellers whose bad buys are restriction problems rather than maths problems.
Pricing: Starter is $7.95/month or $59.95/year; Advanced is $19.95/month, or $114.95/year, discounted from $149.95, with “Experience it with our 30-days free trial – Automatically Applied at Checkout” and “we offer a 14-day money-back guarantee after your trial ends” (asinzen.com, checked 2026-07-30).
Read the tier split before the headline price tempts you. Starter lists only the Hazmat Checker, 2 Free Sub-Accounts, Brands Notification Alerts and the Seller Restrictions Checker — no profit calculator at all. The FBA/FBM Profit Calculator, Stock Checker & Variations Viewer, ASIN Historical Data & Trends, Sales + Revenue Estimations and the ScanEZ mobile app are Advanced-only. So $7.95 buys a compliance layer to run beside RevSeller; $19.95 replaces it — and on annual billing that is $114.95 — a new-customer promotional price — against $99.99, for a considerably wider tool.
Where it is weaker. Recent reviews hit the data and the trial. From June 2026: “Out of nowhere, the variation data is showing as N/A for every ASIN.” (Chrome Web Store, 2 stars, 2026-06-10) — the same failure mode RevSeller reviewers reported in 2021. A March 2026 one-star reviewer separately reported the 30-day trial ending an hour after connecting their Amazon account (Chrome Web Store, 2026-03-28), so watch the start date rather than assuming a full month.
Seller Assistant — when one ASIN at a time stops scaling
What it replaces: the manual half of your day. RevSeller costs a listing you are already looking at; Seller Assistant costs a list you have not opened yet. Best for OA sellers who have started receiving supplier price lists and wholesale catalogues.
Pricing: Pro is $29.99/month, or $299.99/year (about $24.99/month), with 2 seats and published quotas that differ by billing mode — on monthly billing, “Seller Assistant® extension 10k lookups/mo”, “Price List Analyzer 3k Product scans/mo” and “Bulk Restriction Checker 4k ASINs checks/mo” (the annual plan lists 6k ASINs checks/mo) — plus IP-Alert and a VPN extension. Business at $79.99/month, or $69.99/month billed annually ($839.88/year) mainly buys volume — “Price List Analyzer 150k Product scans/mo” on monthly billing, 300k/mo on annual — plus Seller Spy, Brand Analyzer and priority support. Business Plus is $189.99/month, Agency from $399.99/month on an annual contract. All plans list a 14-day free trial (sellerassistant.app/pricing, checked 2026-07-30).
Two capabilities have no RevSeller equivalent at any price: the Bulk Restriction Checker, which the site says can “Check up to 20,000 ASINs in one batch without splitting large lists”, and Seller Spy, which will “Track any storefront over time. See what they add, drop, and how their catalog shifts”. The extension is published for Chrome, Edge and Firefox, answering RevSeller’s Chrome-only limit as well.
Where it is weaker. Three times RevSeller’s entry price, and the quotas need sizing first — 3,000 product scans a month is a few supplier lists, not a scanning habit. Its homepage does not state which Amazon marketplaces are supported (checked 2026-07-30), so confirm coverage before paying if you sell outside the US. We found no published review corpus for it: a gap in the evidence rather than a clean record.
BuyBotPro — if you want the verdict, not the numbers
What it replaces: the judgement call. RevSeller hands you ROI and margin and leaves the decision to you; BuyBotPro scores the deal. Best for newer sellers who do not yet trust their own read of the numbers.
Pricing (US, checked 2026-07-30): Basic $39.95/month, Pro $54.95/month, Enterprise $129.95/month; billed annually those become $33.29 / $45.79 / $108.29 per month, totalling $399.50, $549.50 and $1,299.50 a year. UK pricing is published separately in pounds plus VAT. There is a “30 Day Free Trial”, and coverage beats RevSeller’s: “BuyBotPro is currently available in the US, Canada, UK, France, Germany, Italy and Spain”.

Where it is weaker. Price, mostly: $399.50 a year on Basic is four times RevSeller’s $99.99, and its own reviewers made that comparison years ago — including one who ran both side by side: “Purchased it for the 14 day trial but extension was inaccurate for me. I have RevSeller and used both of these side to side and this was so off the charts” (Chrome Web Store, 1 star, 2018-10-17; the trial was 14 days then and is 30 days on the page today). Keepa and the free floor
Keepa answers the limit RevSeller is most often paired with rather than replaced by: history. The interactive price and rank chart is free on every Amazon product page, permanently — not a trial. The paid data subscription, needed for Product Finder, tracking, exports and the API, is a single plan at €29/month or €290/year (cross-referenced 2026-07-28; Keepa’s pricing page sits behind a bot challenge, so that figure rests on 2026 user accounts and a third-party listing rather than a page we could read — confirm at checkout, and note the euro billing). The AMZBase extension is the free floor under this list: a free Chrome extension surfacing ASIN, BSR, the lowest FBA offer and FBA seller counts on Amazon search and detail pages, with hover access to CamelCamelCamel price history and Keepa rank history across 20+ Amazon sites, and its product page states it calculates FBA fees “to estimate your potential profits”. The store listing states “No registration / No login / All settings stored locally”. It scores no deals and checks no eligibility — an on-page data overlay with a fee calculation, not a decision engine — but a month on it tells you how much of RevSeller’s $99.99 was buying convenience. What you give up by leaving RevSeller
Three things on this list are worse than RevSeller, and they are worth pricing before you switch.
The flat annual charge. $99.99 once a year is the cheapest paid entry here, and nothing beats it annually except AZInsight Advanced at its $114.95 promotional price. SellerAmp costs $239.40 a year at monthly billing, Seller Assistant Pro $299.99, BuyBotPro Basic $399.50. If your only unmet need is a faster profit check, switching costs money and buys nothing.
The no-card trial. RevSeller’s 30 days require no payment information. AZInsight’s trial is “Automatically Applied at Checkout”; SellerAmp’s and Seller Assistant’s run 14 days. Only BuyBotPro matches the 30-day length, and none of them matches the no-card term.
The single panel. Every alternative adds surface area — tiers, quotas, seats, mobile apps. That is their point, and also their cost.

Should I add a tool instead of replacing RevSeller? Often, yes. At $8.33/month it is cheap enough that pairing it with a free Keepa chart, or with AZInsight Starter at $7.95 for gating checks, costs less than a single $19.95 replacement and keeps the panel you already know. Replacing makes sense when the limit is structural — a marketplace it cannot open, or a list it cannot read.
