The short answer: the best Keepa alternative depends on which change pushed you out. If you only wanted price-drop alerts and the free tier’s new 200-tracking cap broke that, CamelCamelCamel still does it for free. If you used Keepa to decide whether a buy was profitable, SellerAmp SAS puts the chart next to the fee math from $19.95/month with a 14-day trial. If the renewal terms were the problem, Jungle Scout publishes a 7-day money-back guarantee and Helium 10 has a free plan. If the tightened Product Viewer quota killed your bulk exports, SellerSprite allows 50 exports a day from $39/month. And if you would rather stop paying a third party for Amazon’s own numbers, Product Opportunity Explorer sits inside Seller Central.
This comparison reflects our analysis of public information — official pricing pages, product documentation, and verified user reviews through July 2026. It is informed judgment, not a controlled lab benchmark, and the tools are grouped by why sellers leave rather than by a single “best tool” verdict.
We are not re-explaining Keepa here. The feature and pricing breakdown lives on our Keepa tool page ; the mechanics of reading the charts are in our guide to using Keepa and CamelCamelCamel . This page answers a narrower question: what do you move to, and why bother.
What changed at Keepa in 2026
Two changes explain most of the current demand for a Keepa alternative.
First, the free tier’s tracking allowance collapsed. Reviewers who had thousands of active price watches found themselves capped at 200, with the larger allowance moved behind the paid subscription. Complaints are dated 2026-02-04 through 2026-02-16 across the Chrome Web Store and Trustpilot, so the change landed no later than 2026-02-04; we found no dated vendor announcement to pin it down more precisely.
Second, the subscription got more expensive. Keepa Pro is currently listed at €29/month or €290/year (two months free), billed in euros only. Note the sourcing: keepa.com blocks automated checks, so that figure comes from 2026 third-party listings and from reviewers’ accounts of what they were charged, not from a page we could read (data checked 2026-07-25). Confirm it on Keepa’s site before subscribing. (Our own Keepa tool page carried the older €19/month figure until 2026-07-28; it now states €29/month with the same sourcing caveat.)
Keepa is not a bad product, and its free chart on the Amazon product page is still the most convenient price history in the business. But a tool cutting its free allowance by 96% is a fair reason to look around.
Why sellers switch: what 56 critical reviews say
We read 56 critical Keepa reviews for this article — 48 one-star, 3 two-star, 5 three-star, from the Chrome Web Store extension listing and Trustpilot, dated 2020 through July 2026. These are third-party accounts, not our own audit, and Keepa has a large body of positive reviews too (its Chrome extension holds 4.67 stars across 5,115 ratings — Chrome Web Store, checked 2026-07-25). What matters is that the complaints repeat, and each cluster points to a different replacement. The counts below are our grouping of those 56.
1. The free tier went from thousands of trackings to 200 (5 of 56 name the 200-item cap; 8 counting other free-tier cuts)
The loudest and newest theme, and what most people searching for an alternative are reacting to:
“Keepa drastically reduced my watched products from 5000 to 200, then pushes a €29/month subscription to get 10,000. This feels like a bait-and-switch paywall change with no fair transition for existing users.” — Chrome Web Store, 1★, 2026-02-04
“Started to charge 29€ per month, it went fom [sic] 5000 tracks to 200 on free plan. Are you guys crazy?!?! … Time to move to camel camel camel !!!” — Chrome Web Store, 1★, 2026-02-06
The pricing shape, not just the price, draws objections — one reviewer would have paid, just not this way: “you could have asked me 1 cts/follow per months and i would have gladly paid but you are too greedy , I dont need anything else beyond notif” (Chrome Web Store, 1★, 2026-02-06). Feature removals landed in the same window: “they keep removing functionality, like tracking ebooks and limiting the amount of alerts you can set” (Chrome Web Store, 2★, 2026-05-12).
2. A price rise, and a Product Viewer quota that broke bulk workflows
For sellers rather than deal-hunters, the quota change hit harder than the headline price:
“They raised their prices by 50% and GREATLY limited the Product Viewer, with such a steep quota that it’s unusable. Before I was able to extract tens of thousands of products info a day, for multiple countries. Now I just can’t do it at all.” — Trustpilot, 1★, 2026-03-06
“The £17 before was not cheap but doable, now £27 for this is a joke.” — Trustpilot, 1★, 2026-03-12
That second reviewer is quoting sterling on a euro subscription — the FX conversion is part of the cost for anyone outside the eurozone.
3. Billing and refunds (19 of 56 — the largest cluster)
Nineteen reviews are about money mechanics rather than data: annual renewals charging before a cancellation registered, and a refund policy reviewers describe as absolute.
“I contacted Keepa the day before the charge cleared my credit card that I was no longer an FBA seller on Amazon and wanted to cancel their service. The company’s response was that they had notified me by email prior to charging me and did not offer refunds.” — Trustpilot, 1★, 2024-09-03
A January 2026 reviewer describes the same sequence after closing their store: “We were billed and told them same day we are no longer using them. They refused to refund and said we had to pay the entire year” (Trustpilot, 1★, 2026-01-02). These span 2020 to 2026, so this is not a reaction to the 2026 changes — it is the most persistent complaint in the set. The practical response is to shortlist tools that publish a money-back window or a genuinely free plan, and to avoid annual prepayment until you have run a full month.
4. Marketplaces it still doesn’t cover (10 of 56)
Keepa’s Chrome extension listing names ten Amazon domains — .com, .co.uk, .de, .co.jp, .fr, .ca, .it, .es, .in and .mx (Chrome Web Store listing, checked 2026-07-25) — and reviewers keep arriving from the ones it doesn’t cover:
“Does not support Amazon Australia so it’s useless to me - There are forum (“comment” section in app) posts going back years asking for it where they keep saying they have no plans to.” — Chrome Web Store, 1★, 2025-10-06
“Exactly what I was looking for but doesn’t support amazon.ae. Had to uninstall :(” — Chrome Web Store, 3★, 2025-11-21
The same complaint appears for amazon.ie, amazon.se, amazon.com.be and amazon.eg. Switching helps in some of those cases but not all, and the split is worth knowing before you subscribe. Australia has two answers: CamelCamelCamel’s Camelizer extension, and Helium 10, which lists amazon.au with Black Box, the Chrome extension, Cerebro and Magnet. The Gulf storefronts are covered by Helium 10 as well — amazon.ae carries the full research stack (Black Box, Chrome extension, My List, Cerebro, Magnet) and amazon.sa carries Black Box, the Chrome extension, Cerebro and Magnet. Sweden is the partial case: amazon.se is listed, but only for listing, advertising and operations tools, with no product or keyword research. Egypt is listed with Inventory Manager and the Managed Refund Service only, with the research and marketing rows marked “Please check back for updates”. Ireland and Belgium are not on the list at all (Helium 10 knowledge base, “Which Tools Are Supported in Which Markets?”, 21 Amazon storefronts, last edited 2025-12-10, read 2026-07-25). Check a vendor’s marketplace list against your storefront before subscribing.
5. Account access: device limits, VPNs and captchas (10 of 56)
Keepa enforces its account-sharing rules in a way several long-term users say caught them out:
“Now you cannot use your keepa account in your laptop, if you have logged in to your pc already. Moreover, if you use vpn for any purpose, they will restrict your account.” — Trustpilot, 1★, 2024-05-08
Another reports an account suspended for the same reason: “So apparently you can not use your own account on your laptop and work computer. This is a breach of their TOS. Are you kidding?” (Trustpilot, 1★, 2024-03-22). Free users hit a lighter version: “Was great, but has started regularly asking me to prove that I’m human to see the results” (Chrome Web Store, 3★, 2025-11-07). If you work across two machines or run a small team, price that in — several alternatives below include multiple seats. A smaller group (4 of 56) questions data accuracy, usually as lag: “the lag or simply incorrect information on many products” (Trustpilot, 2★, 2026-01-20).

Prices from each vendor’s official page except where noted: SellerAmp data checked 2026-07-25; Jungle Scout 2026-07-23; Helium 10 and SellerSprite 2026-07-20; Product Opportunity Explorer 2026-07-25. Keepa figures are third-party and reviewer-reported (keepa.com blocks automated checks), data checked 2026-07-25. Currencies are as billed — Keepa charges in euros, the rest in US dollars.
The alternatives, by reason for switching
If you only wanted the alerts back: CamelCamelCamel
CamelCamelCamel (camelcamelcamel.com — the site blocks automated requests, so we link its browser extension listings below rather than a link we cannot verify) is the tool Keepa’s own defectors name in their exit reviews, twice in the set above. It is free, has no paid tier to upsell you into, and its whole product is what the Keepa free tier just restricted: price history charts and price watches with email alerts when a product drops below your target, plus wishlist imports, RSS feeds and the Camelizer browser extension. An account is optional for browsing history and required to save watches; the site publishes no per-account watch limit we could verify.
Coverage is the thing to check, and the two halves of the product differ. The tracking site lists Amazon US, UK, Canada, Germany, France, Italy, Spain and Japan; the Camelizer extension is listed for the US, Canada, UK, Germany, Spain, France, Italy and Australia — which, if you were one of the reviewers locked out by Keepa’s lack of amazon.com.au support, is the most useful fact on this page. Camelcamelcamel.com blocks automated checks, so both coverage lists and the account and watch-limit details above come from the site’s own pages as indexed plus 2026 third-party listings (data checked 2026-07-25). The Australian coverage is the part we could confirm independently: the Camelizer’s Chrome Web Store and Firefox add-on listings both state support for Amazon in the United States, Canada, Europe and Australia (checked 2026-07-25, links re-verified 2026-07-27). Confirm your own locale before relying on the rest.
The trade-off is real: you give up Sales Rank history, Buy Box analytics, offer counts and Product Finder. For a deal-hunter that is no loss; for sourcing decisions it is a downgrade, which is why the next tools exist.
If you needed the chart to make a buy decision: SellerAmp SAS
Most arbitrage and wholesale sellers do not want a price chart — they want to know whether to buy the unit in front of them. SellerAmp SAS is built around that moment: sales and price charts, Buy Box analysis, eligibility and IP alerts, and a profit calculator (fees, ROI, max cost) on one screen, via Chrome extension, web app and mobile app.
Plans run $19.95/month (Getting Started), $29.95/month (Getting Serious) and $49.95/month (Going Pro), annual billing gives two months free, and there is a 14-day free trial you can cancel anytime; every plan includes the charts and the calculator. Coverage is seven marketplaces — US, UK, Canada, France, Germany, Spain, Italy — with one-click switching for local, EFN and Pan-EU fulfilment (SellerAmp official pricing, data checked 2026-07-25).
Best fit: retail and online arbitrage sellers who used Keepa as a sourcing gate. If you were doing FBA fee math in your head next to the Keepa chart, this collapses two steps into one, below Keepa Pro’s current euro rate.
If the renewal terms were the problem: Jungle Scout
If your reason for leaving is the billing cluster, the useful filter is not features — it is what happens when you want out. Jungle Scout publishes a 7-day money-back guarantee and sells month-to-month as well as annually, so you can test a research workflow without a year of exposure.
On data it covers what Keepa Pro covers for sourcing — historical sales and price data, product tracking, ASIN analysis, sales estimates. Annual plans are $348/year (Starter, 1 user, 200 tracked ASINs), $588/year (Growth Accelerator) and $1,548/year (Brand Owner, 3 users, 2-year historical lookback), with extra seats at $459/year (Jungle Scout official pricing, data checked 2026-07-23). Month-to-month pricing exists, but third-party listings disagree on the Starter figure, so read it off the checkout page rather than trusting a number quoted anywhere — including here. There is no permanent free tier.
Best fit: private-label and wholesale sellers who want research depth plus an exit ramp. The multi-seat plans also answer the device-lockout complaint: three users on Brand Owner is a supported arrangement, not a TOS risk.
If you want everything in one login: Helium 10
If Keepa was one of five subscriptions and the €29 renewal was the one that finally annoyed you, consolidation may beat replacement. Helium 10 bundles product research, keyword research, listing optimization, rank tracking and PPC in one account.
Two facts before you buy. There is a limited free plan, so you can test the interface without subscribing — a direct answer to “I got charged for a year I couldn’t use.” And check the tier against the job: Platinum is $99/month billed annually ($129 month-to-month) with only limited profit reporting and 20 lifetime tracked ASINs, while the full Profits P&L dashboard, inventory management and 1,000 tracked ASINs arrive on Diamond at $279/month annually ($359 monthly); Enterprise starts at $1,499/month (Helium 10 official pricing, data checked 2026-07-20). It also answers the coverage complaint for several storefronts Keepa skips: its knowledge base tracks tool support across 21 Amazon storefronts, and Australia, the UAE and Saudi Arabia all get the product and keyword research tools — though support thins out further down the list, with Sweden limited to listing, ads and operations and Egypt to inventory and refunds (Helium 10 knowledge base, “Which Tools Are Supported in Which Markets?”, last edited 2025-12-10, read 2026-07-25).
Best fit: sellers already paying for two or three research tools. The trade-off: at $99/month you pay roughly three times Keepa Pro for a platform whose price-history depth is not its main selling point. If that is the wrong direction, our Helium 10 alternatives roundup covers who leaves it and why.
If the Product Viewer quota broke your exports: SellerSprite
The reviewer extracting “tens of thousands of products info a day” was using Keepa as a data pipe, and that is the use the quota change hit hardest. SellerSprite is the closest like-for-like: every plan carries 50 exports per day, and tiers scale on tracking capacity rather than metering queries — Basic $39/month (50 products / 250 keywords / 25 listings tracked on annual billing), Standard $79, Advanced $129, VIP $189, with annual billing saving about 16%. There is a 3-day free trial and no permanent free tier (SellerSprite official pricing, data checked 2026-07-20).
Best fit: sellers running repeatable bulk research — category sweeps, supplier catalog checks, multi-country pulls. If the workflow is genuinely programmatic rather than bulk-manual, the other honest answer is Keepa’s own API, a separate product from the Pro subscription with its own pricing.
If you’d rather use Amazon’s own data: Product Opportunity Explorer
Every third-party tool here infers demand from the outside. Product Opportunity Explorer is Amazon’s own view — search terms and volume, demand trends, competition and market saturation, review and return behaviour — reached from Seller Central under Growth > Product Opportunity Explorer. Amazon’s page lists no separate fee for the tool; access comes with a selling account, and it notes a Professional selling account is $39.99/month plus selling fees (data checked 2026-07-25).
The trade-off is real: it is a demand and niche explorer, not a price tracker. No ASIN-level price history, no price-drop alerts, so it does not replace Keepa for arbitrage sourcing. It replaces the research half of what many sellers paid Keepa Pro for, at no extra cost on an account you already have.
Best fit: sellers choosing what to launch next who want first-party numbers and one fewer subscription. Pair it with free CamelCamelCamel watches if you still need alerts.
How to choose the right Keepa alternative
Start from what pushed you out, not from a feature matrix:
- “My free trackings dropped to 200.” Go to CamelCamelCamel — free, alert-focused, no advertised cap.
- “I used the chart to decide whether to buy.” Go to SellerAmp SAS: chart plus fee math in one panel, cheaper than Keepa Pro’s current rate.
- “They charged me for a year I couldn’t cancel.” Shortlist by exit terms — Jungle Scout’s 7-day money-back guarantee or Helium 10’s free plan — and pay monthly until you’re sure.
- “The Product Viewer quota made bulk work impossible.” Go to SellerSprite for 50 exports/day, or move to a proper API if the work is programmatic.
- “My account got restricted across two computers.” Buy seats instead of sharing one: Jungle Scout Brand Owner (3 users) or Helium 10 Diamond (5 logins).
- “I don’t want to pay a third party for Amazon’s numbers.” Use Product Opportunity Explorer and keep free price watches on the side.
- “Keepa doesn’t cover my marketplace.” Check coverage lists first. Australia has two answers — free via CamelCamelCamel’s Camelizer, paid via Helium 10 — and Helium 10 also covers the UAE and Saudi storefronts with its product and keyword research tools. Sweden is listed by Helium 10 for listing, ads and operations only, not research; Egypt only for inventory and refunds; Ireland and Belgium are not on any coverage list on this page.
One adjacent gap none of these fill: they track prices and demand, not what a listing looks like. If your competitive research ends with collecting the images and video from listings you are about to compete with, ASINCrate is a Chrome extension that bulk-downloads Amazon product images and video — free for single images, with a Pro plan at $9.99/month for bulk ZIP downloads, video capture and CSV metadata export (asincrate.com, data checked 2026-07-25). It holds no price or sales data, so it sits beside a tracker rather than replacing one.
For the wider category, see our Amazon product research tools hub , the sales tracker roundup and the best Amazon seller tools list .
Before you cancel, check these three things
- Confirm what you actually used. If your Keepa sessions were mostly “is this price low right now,” a free tracker covers it. If they were mostly Product Finder and Seller Lookup, no free tool replaces that and you are shopping in the research category instead.
- Count the trackings you really need. The 200-item cap is generous for most private-label sellers and useless for deal-hunters watching a wishlist.
- Time the cancellation against the renewal date, not the charge date. The most common complaint in the whole 56-review set is a cancellation submitted the same day a renewal posted. Whatever you use next, set a reminder a week before the anniversary.
Frequently asked questions
Is there a free Keepa alternative? Yes. CamelCamelCamel is free with no paid tier and covers price history and price-drop alerts for Amazon US, UK, Canada, Germany, France, Italy, Spain and Japan, with its Camelizer extension additionally listed for Australia (data checked 2026-07-25; the site blocks automated checks, so confirm your locale on site). Helium 10 has a limited free plan for research, and Amazon’s Product Opportunity Explorer is included with a selling account. None of them reproduces Keepa’s Sales Rank and Buy Box history for free.
Why did Keepa reduce free tracking to 200 products? Keepa has not published an explanation we could verify — keepa.com blocks automated checks. What is documented is the effect: reviewers dated 2026-02-04 onward report the free allowance dropping from around 5,000 to 200 items, with 10,000 available on the paid subscription (Chrome Web Store and Trustpilot reviews, data checked 2026-07-25).
What is the closest alternative to Keepa for arbitrage sellers? SellerAmp SAS, on the strength of what arbitrage sellers use Keepa for: price and sales history alongside a profit calculator, Buy Box analysis and eligibility checks, from $19.95/month with a 14-day trial (data checked 2026-07-25). CamelCamelCamel is the free option, but has no fee math and no rank data.
Can I get a refund from Keepa? Reviewers across 2020–2026 consistently report being told no, including for renewals disputed on the day of the charge. We could not read Keepa’s current terms directly to confirm the published policy, so treat this as reviewer-reported (data checked 2026-07-25) and read the terms yourself before paying annually.
Is Keepa still worth it in 2026? For sellers who rely on Sales Rank history, Buy Box statistics and offer counts, it remains the deepest dataset of its kind and nothing here matches it on that axis alone. The question is whether you use enough of that depth to justify €29/month in a currency you may not earn in. If you mostly used the free chart, the free alternatives now cover more of your workflow than they did a year ago.
