Short answer: this category splits in two, and the split is not about features. On 2026-09-02, five of the platforms compared here publish no dollar figure anywhere — Intentwise, Pacvue, Quartile, Trellis and DataHawk all route every buyer to a demo — while Perpetua, m19, Scale Insights and Helium 10 print rate cards you can do arithmetic against. The cheapest published entry point is m19’s Autopilot at €49/month; the most expensive is Perpetua’s Essentials at $695/month. Meanwhile Amazon Marketing Cloud itself, the capability most of these vendors headline, is free: “Amazon Marketing Cloud is available at no cost to eligible advertisers via web-based UI and API” (advertising.amazon.com, data checked 2026-09-02).

Every price below was read on 2026-09-02 from the vendor’s own pricing page. No figure here comes from a competitor’s comparison post — which matters in this category, because most “Intentwise alternatives” pages in search results are written by the alternatives themselves, and the prices they quote for each other cannot be traced to any vendor page. For what Intentwise is as a product, start with our Intentwise review ; for the wider category, see the Amazon PPC and advertising workflow hub .

What Intentwise publishes on 2026-09-02

Nothing about cost. We re-probed the obvious paths today: intentwise.com/pricing/ returns a 301, www.intentwise.com/pricing returns 404, and www.intentwise.com/plans returns 404. The homepage resolves normally at 200, so this is not a site outage — there simply is no pricing page. That reading is unchanged from our 2026-08-13 check, when we also pulled the 697-URL sitemap and found no pricing document in it.

What Intentwise does publish is a four-layer product: a data pipeline into your own warehouse (Foundation), a reporting and diagnostics layer that includes Amazon Marketing Cloud access (Intelligence and Explore), a rules-plus-AI execution layer (Optimize and DSP), and an AI Gateway exposing the data set over MCP (intentwise.com, checked 2026-08-13). Modularity is why the missing rate card bites harder here than at a single-product vendor: a quote for Optimize is not a quote for Foundation, and nothing on the site tells you the ratio between them. “Alternatives to Intentwise” is therefore three different shopping trips, depending on which layer you were quoting.

One vendor is missing a today-dated figure, and we are not going to invent one. Teikametrics belongs here — it is the other platform that bundles AMC into a published tier — but on 2026-09-02 www.teikametrics.com served us a certificate issued to *.wpengine.com, which does not cover the domain, and connecting past it returned a 404 host page. Our last successful read was 2026-09-01: Essentials at $149/month billed annually or $179/month billed monthly up to $10K of monthly ad spend, Advanced priced as Custom “+3% of ad spend over $10K”. Those figures and the contracts behind them are in Perpetua vs Teikametrics and our Teikametrics review — a day-old reading, not a today one.

The AMC question, and who is actually gating it

Amazon Marketing Cloud is the single feature most often used to justify enterprise pricing in this category, so it is worth being precise about what you are buying.

Amazon’s own product page states: “Amazon Marketing Cloud is available at no cost to eligible advertisers via web-based UI and API.” On access, verbatim: “Advertisers registered with Amazon DSP can reach out to their Ad Tech Account Executive to request access, and those registered with sponsored ads can access AMC via self-service.” And: “Advertisers working with partners registered on the Amazon Ads Partner Network can also utilize AMC via their partners” (advertising.amazon.com, checked 2026-09-02).

Read that against the vendor tiers. Perpetua puts “Access to custom AMC reporting” in its top Custom tier only — the one that starts above $500K in monthly ad spend (perpetua.io/pricing, checked 2026-09-02). Its $695 Essentials and its Growth tier list no AMC line at all; Growth’s headline addition is “Hourly Reporting & Intraday Optimization via Amazon Marketing Stream,” a different Amazon service. Teikametrics listed “Integrated Amazon Marketing Cloud (AMC)” on Advanced at our 2026-09-01 check. Intentwise names Explore as its AMC product but attaches no price to it.

The practical consequence: if AMC is the reason you are shopping, you are not paying these vendors for access — Amazon grants that to eligible advertisers at no cost. You are paying for the SQL, the instance management, the query library and the reporting layer on top. That is a real service, but it prices very differently from a gated capability, and it is the question to put to any vendor whose quote leans on those three letters.

Three fee shapes, and what each one does to your bill

The rate cards that do exist use three different mechanics, and the difference shows up at scale rather than at signup.

Flat, banded by your size. Helium 10 charges Platinum at $99/month billed annually or $129/month billed monthly for $0–$100K in yearly sales, Diamond at $279 annually or $359 monthly for $100K–$10M, and Enterprise from $1,499/month billed annually beyond $10M (helium10.com/pricing, checked 2026-09-02). Ad spend does not enter the formula — though the same page footnotes that “Diamond plan customers incur a 2% management fee on PPC spend managed through Helium 10 Ads.” Full Profit & Loss reporting sits on Diamond; Platinum lists limited profit reporting. If you are buying Helium 10 for analytics, that boundary is the one that matters.

Flat plus a percentage of ad spend. Perpetua’s Growth tier is “$695/mth + % of ad spend” with no rate printed; m19’s Professional is €400 + 3% of total ad spend/month, or $479 + 3%, with the rate printed. Same shape, opposite transparency. At €20K of monthly spend, m19 Professional computes to €1,000/month before you make a call; Perpetua’s Growth computes to $695 plus an unknown.

Per unit of work. Scale Insights charges by automated ASIN rather than by spend or revenue: Scale 5 at $78/month ($748/year), Scale 20 at $178 ($1,708), Scale 50 at $388 ($3,724), Scale 100 at $688 ($6,604), annual billing marked −20%. It also publishes The 1% Plan — unlimited automated ASINs for 1% of monthly ad spend (scaleinsights.com/pricing, checked 2026-09-02). A seller with 12 ASINs and $60K of monthly spend pays $178 on the tiered plan and $600 on the percentage plan; 400 ASINs at $20K of spend inverts that.

What each alternative actually replaces

Intentwise sells four layers. Nothing on this list replaces all four, so match the replacement to the layer you were quoting.

If you were buying Optimize (bid and budget execution): Perpetua, Teikametrics, Trellis, m19 and Scale Insights all do goal-driven bid automation across Sponsored Products, Brands and Display. Price separates them far more than capability does. Trellis publishes no price at all — its page headline on 2026-09-02 is “Custom Pricing Designed Around Your Goals,” and its FAQ describes two models, a monthly subscription that “will take into account marketplaces, brands, features, and more,” or a flat monthly fee locked in for a year. m19 and Scale Insights are the two that let a mid-size seller price the whole thing before a sales call.

If you were buying Intelligence or Explore (dashboards, diagnostics, AMC analysis): this is where the quote-only cluster lives. Pacvue , Quartile and DataHawk all publish demo forms instead of numbers — DataHawk’s page states “Custom pricing available with annual plans tailored to your business,” and Quartile’s /pricing path lands on the homepage. Since AMC access is free to eligible advertisers, the honest sequence is to take self-service access first, see how far the native interface gets your team, then price the layer on top. Our analytics and reporting hub covers that side.

If you were buying Foundation (data pipelines into your own warehouse): you are shopping for an ELT tool, not an ads platform, and the pricing logic is completely different. Openbridge publishes a Pay-As-You-Go plan whose base is listed as “$0/mo” with a 30-day free trial and no credit card, and bills on the count of active daily pipelines — “The number of activated data pipeline(s), per day, determines the rate you are charged each month” (openbridge.com/pricing, checked 2026-09-02). The per-pipeline rate card lives in the billing documentation the page links to, not on the page. Treat the $0 base as an entry point, not a total.

What reviewers say about Intentwise

Themes below are drawn from public G2 listings collected in our research corpus and are paraphrased, not quoted. Reviewers describe the platform as expensive for companies with limited advertising budgets, and describe billing as confusing when several services are combined — which lines up with the modular structure and the absent rate card. They report a setup process needing real technical knowledge for custom reports, a learning curve driven by the number of features, occasional data inaccuracy requiring manual spotting of refresh problems, and occasional instability after substantial targeting changes. Missing budget settings and case management come up as specific gaps.

The sharpest public complaint is older and sits on Trustpilot. A 1-star review dated 2022-03-17 reads, verbatim: “This is a massive con! Beware, their job was to reduce our Amazon ad spend, but it instead went up by £23,000 per month. I hope someone reads this before making the mistake of signing up with these people.” That is one reviewer’s account of a managed engagement four years ago, not an audit finding, and we did not verify it. Read it as a reminder of what “we’ll optimize your spend” means contractually: get the success metric, the baseline and the exit written down.

Why Pricing and Stage Fit split so hard. The vendors publishing no figure take 1 or 2 on both — a structural fact, not a judgement on value: a buyer can neither compute the bill nor start without a procurement cycle. Scale Insights takes 5 on Pricing because it prints every tier and offers a second axis to price on; m19 takes 4 because it prints both the base and the percentage.

Where Intentwise scores highest. Depth and Team Fit at 5 are genuine — a warehouse pipeline across 21 marketplaces plus AMC analysis plus rules-based execution is a wider surface than anything else here. Ease at 2 is that same trait seen from the other side.

Which one fits

Stay with Intentwise if marketplace and ad data really is scattered across accounts and regions, you own a warehouse to land it in, and you have an analyst to use it. Nothing cheaper here replaces the Foundation layer.

Choose Perpetua if your spend is well past $10K and Amazon Marketing Stream-driven intraday optimization is the specific thing you want. Get the percentage above 10k defined in writing before signing — it is not on any public page.

Choose m19 or Scale Insights if you want the execution layer without a procurement cycle. m19 is the only vendor here that prints both a base fee and its percentage rate; Scale Insights is the only one that lets you choose between paying per ASIN and paying a share of spend. Both offer a 30-day trial.

Choose Helium 10 if ads analytics is one job among several and you would rather consolidate — but budget for Diamond, not Platinum, if profit and loss reporting is part of what you are buying, and read the 2% management fee footnote. Our Helium 10 alternatives page covers where that consolidation stops paying.

Start with Amazon directly if AMC was the whole reason for the search. It costs nothing to eligible advertisers, and “do we need a vendor layer on this?” is much cheaper to answer after you have seen the raw instance.

Frequently asked questions

How much does Intentwise cost? There is no published answer. On 2026-09-02 /pricing and /plans both return 404 on intentwise.com, and the site carries no rate card, tier table or “starting at” figure. Every route ends at a demo request. Dollar figures for Intentwise circulating in search results come from third-party review sites and cannot be traced to any vendor page.

Which Intentwise alternative is cheapest? Among platforms publishing a price on 2026-09-02, m19’s Autopilot at €49/month excluding VAT (or $59/month) is the lowest entry point, followed by Scale Insights at $78/month for five automated ASINs. Both include a 30-day free trial.

Do I need Intentwise to use Amazon Marketing Cloud? No. Amazon states that AMC “is available at no cost to eligible advertisers via web-based UI and API,” with self-service access for advertisers registered with sponsored ads and account-executive access for Amazon DSP advertisers (checked 2026-09-02). Vendors sell the query, reporting and instance-management layer on top of it, not the access itself.

Are the prices in competitor comparison posts reliable? Treat them as unsourced. Most pages ranking for “Intentwise alternatives” are published by competing vendors, and the prices they attribute to each other frequently cannot be found on the named vendor’s site. Every figure on this page is traceable to the vendor’s own pricing page on 2026-09-02, and where we could not complete a check — Teikametrics — we say so instead of filling the gap.
